Market Content

There are 3 ways to market you content: Partner sites, your own website and e-mail marketing





1) Promote your work on Partner sites
This option allows you to publish your content to Google, where buyers can find your content based on keyword searches. 
  • Go to 'Market Content'
  • Click on 'Publish to Search Engines'
  • Click 'Get Started' (you can check to not have the instructions displayed again next time, which will then take you directly to the content selection page)
  • Select content to publish
  • Click 'Continue' on the bottom of the page



    2) Storefront Marketing
    This option allows you to place thumbnails of your content with links back to LicenseStream on your own website. When users click a provided link, they will be directed to LicenseStream to purchase the content.

    Please note:
    In order to publish to your own website, you need to be able to edit your website's code.
  • Go to 'Market Content'
  • Click on 'Publicize your Store'
  • Click 'Get Started'
  • Select the content you'd like to place on your website
  • Click 'Continue' on the right side of the page
  • Customize the display of your content: You can select the number of images displayed across the page, if you'd like to display the Content Name and/or Caption and where this info will be displayed. Click 'Continue' for the HTML code



  • The following HTML code is made available here:

    - Stylesheet: Copy this HTML code if you would like to apply your own style preferences
    - HTML: Copy this HTML code to display the content on your website and link back to your LicenseStream account for licensing. 
    - Links Only: If you would like to display single content on your website, blog, email or anywhere that allows you to post HTML, copy the code next to the specific image

    Paste the appropriate HTML code into your website as specified on the page






    3) Email Marketing
  • Go to 'Market Content'
  • Click on 'Connect Directly'
  • Click 'Get Started' (you can check to not have the instructions displayed again next time, which will then take you directly to the content selection page)
  • Select either a Store or a Lightbox to send to your customer and click 'Continue'





    Select an existing customer from the list and click 'Send' or add more addresses
