Over the last several years while being on stay-at-home-dad duty I've developed my filmmaking and multimedia skills so that on my return to the profession I would be well prepared for the multimedia future. I studied graphic design, photography and creative writing before becoming a wire service staff photographer in the UK in 1992. In 2000 I graduated from the Photojournalism Program at the International Center of Photography in New York. In 2003 I signed with Millennium Images in London where much of my best work is available to license. Some clients and publications have included; The New York Times Magazine, The Sunday New York Times, The Independent & Independent on Sunday, The Guardian, The Daily and Sunday Telegraph, The Times & Sunday Times, The Irish Times, The Institute of Psychiatry, Sinn Fein, Ireland's Mission to the UN, Court TV and Channel Five. I've just published WOOFERS: Dogs & Their People and have two books currently in development for publication in 2010. In 1991 I received a bravery medal from the Irish government for a winter river rescue. I live in London with my wife and two sons. photo@paultreacy.com
